Striving for musical excellence with bespoke learning experience

Extensive international experience

With over fifteen years of seasoned teaching experience, CheHo has worked with students of all levels, many of whom becoming prize winners at competitions in New York and Hong Kong. Some of which have even gone on and performed at Carnegie Hall and Yale Club.

Diligently goal-oriented

Apart from helping students ace their ABRSM and Trinity diploma exams, CheHo is dedicated to uncovering students' full potential; focusing on developing their ear training skills, sense of rhythm, musicianship, body mindfulness, critical thinking on how to practise smart, and ultimately finding joy in violin playing.

Translatable skills & methods

Incorporating Suzuki teaching methods and Alexander technique (body awareness), together with tech interactive learning environment, Cheho responds to personality traits and attention spans of individual students by tailor making a student led and fun-based syllabus; handpicking miniature pieces, etudes duets, and repertoire that best complements the process.
